SUPREME DECISION

The Supreme Court upheld Obamacare today, including the individual mandate portion. Actually they struck down the individual mandate as unconstitutional but upheld it as a tax which according to them is constitutional and a matter for congress to address. Fair enough I guess. It is certainly a blow to those of us who wish to remain free and clear of forced behavior by our government in areas previously undisturbed by oppressive control and choice limitation.

Healthcare in this country needed some fixing, but thinkers knew this was not the answer and feelers never bothered to educate themselves to know any better. So essentially the requirement that every American buy health insurance has been taken out of our hands completely and the money will be automatically taken from you as a tax if you do not comply and buy it voluntarily. For you “feelers” out there this means, like every other government program designed to help “all people”, only those Americans who pay taxes to begin with will be the ones saddled with the additional costs in order to pay for those who don’t or wont. Sound familiar?

One could argue here that nothing has really changed then. I would disagree. I would offer that something very significant has occurred this week; a week that may someday be reflected upon in the annals of our history as a critical turning point when the experiment that is called the United State of America headed toward it’s inevitable conclusion. The cliché, “nothing lasts forever” is appropriate here.

What I am talking about is the essence of the human condition. The natural entropy that occurs over time and events in a countries history that leads it to its final identity. When conditions exist that make it intolerable to live free from overt oppression and control, thats when people hit their tipping point and revolt. That’s how the USA was born. England’s King George III’s over reaching rule and excessive taxation without representation caused our ancestors to declare our independence. Remembering the words of Patrick Henry, “Give me liberty or give me death” Causes older Americans to invoke the passion and strong sentiment knowing that freedom is a hard fought condition and without sacrifice and struggle, it will eventually perish under the weight of complacency.

The leader of this country has nearly succeeded in doing away with the constitutionally established checks and balances of a three branch government. He no longer acknowledges the House or Senate and has appointed himself several “Czars” to effectively replace his cabinet. He runs his dictatorship through executive order and executive privilege. He has created extreme racial division by concocting and engendering false grievances. He uses gender issues as a dependency control mechanism. He has assaulted religion. He has vilified the successful and held up the failures as role models for us all. He has put our nation on a high speed train to financial disaster in keeping with his love affair with crony capitalism and idiotic fiscal policy. He has created millions of government dependent drones, ensuring that they never develop any individual identity or respect for themselves or the world around them. He has taken the fringe elements of abnormality and created victims out of them all, forcing obligatory policy changes to accommodate them at the expense of the other 99.9 %.  He lies profusely to the American public and fails to take any responsibility for his failures, yet takes all the credit for others successes. He is the absolute antithesis of a leader and yet he is the president of this country because America lost its resolute attention to our most precious commodity and Obama saw the opportunity to take it. He is everything I have raised my kids not to be.

The United States of America has had a great run. For the last 236 years, we have overcome adversity and laid down our lives to maintain the precious freedoms our founders also fought and died for. We expanded the boundaries of the possible and created innovation and progress no other country could match. Freedom worked. In short order, the experiment called the USA produced the most influential, powerful country on earth in a time frame that was no more then, “a cup of coffee” relative to the history of mankind.

Then something happened; or didn’t happen. Americans became satisfied. We became complacent. We lost our internal vigilance. We no longer had to fight for our own freedoms any longer. Instead we started getting involved in everybody else’s problems. We were secure in our homes and our homeland. We had plenty of food. We were happy. And because of this we unwittingly invited the forces of socialism to begin its slow and steady creep into our society. The lizard bit us in the ankle. Those who favored collectivism, socialism and communism alike took advantage of our hard fought freedoms here and slowly began introducing their philosophies into our establishments. Educational institutions and the media were primary targets because the young are vulnerable to indoctrination and manipulating the flow of information to the public was vital in order to sway people’s perspectives. They attempted to gain political control several times on the national scene by offering those disenfranchised or economically challenged citizens the concept of “equal distribution”, the precursor to the fairness doctrine you hear from liberals today. Norman Mattoon Thomas, socialist and 6 time presidential candidate from the early to mid 1900’s was quoted in his 1944 speech:
           
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the Socialist party. The democratic Party has adopted our platform.”

If this country is to become a socialist nation and the majority of the citizens are ready and willing to adopt such a system of governance then so be it. There are many people in our country that would prefer living in a highly controlled environment and find comfort in the ease of mind that comes with having others decide their daily life structure. I see them everyday and I empathize with their condition that favors this lifestyle. Unfortunately this puts them at odds with those citizens who are goal oriented, competitive achievers who don’t want less efficient, less effective, less productive people or programs interfering with their lives. 

Our country was great not because we were inherently better people, but because the government we established was built on a different structure than those of other countries. Now it appears our structure is collapsing around us and the forces of mediocrity, dependency and corruption are prevailing. From a historical perspective this devolution of a great country is not uncommon. Most great civilizations in history have come apart sooner or later under the hefty burdens of their successes.  More so, it appears that sustained excellence and prosperity seems counter to the rule of the human condition and America’s meteoric rise to prominence most likely set the stage for an equally meteoric descent. Is it reversible? Yes it is, but…………..

One could make the argument that keeping our independence might turn out to be harder then declaring our independence. The following is an important excerpt from of our Declaration of Independence.”

            “That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends(Life, Liberty and pursuit of happiness), it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

I am looking forward to this November. In November we will find out once and for all if there are enough of us left to turn the tables on this oppressive, corrupt presidential administration. We will find out if our system of government is destined to survive any longer. We will find out if the feelers and the followers are the future of this once great nation or will the thinkers and doers finally rise up and take back the day. We will know for certain whether there is any fight left in this dog, or if it’s over, plain and simple.

I want my children, my children’s children and my children’s children’s children to have the same opportunities I had to make their own life choices and be accountable to them, which is the very essence of freedom. Right now it looks like we are faced with a new struggle for freedom that demands from us a supreme decision this fall. Romney is certainly no panacea, but at least he is an American. Are there enough of us left that care?

A BOORTZ

Neal Boortz is a Texan, a lawyer, a Texas Aggie (Texas A&M) graduate, and now a nationally syndicated talk show host from Atlanta . His commencement address to the graduates of a recent Texas A&M class is far different from what either the students or the faculty expected. Whether you agree or disagree, his views are certainly thought provoking.

"I am honored by the invitation to address you on this august occasion. It's about time. Be warned, however, that I am not here to impress you; you'll have enough smoke blown up your bloomers today. And you can bet your tassels I'm not here to impress the faculty and administration. You may not like much of what I have to say, and that's fine. You will remember it though. Especially after about 10 years out there in the real world. This, it goes without saying, does not apply to those of you who will seek your careers and your fortunes as government employees.
This gowned gaggle behind me is your faculty. You've heard the old saying that those who can - do. Those who can't - teach. That sounds deliciously insensitive. But there is often raw truth in insensitivity, just as you often find feel-good falsehoods and lies in compassion. Say good-bye to your faculty because now you are getting ready to go out there and do. These folks behind me are going to stay right here and teach.
By the way, just because you are leaving this place with a diploma doesn't mean the learning is over. When an FAA flight examiner handed me my private pilot's license many years ago, he said, “Here, this is your ticket to learn.” The same can be said for your diploma. Believe me, the learning has just begun.
Now, I realize that most of you consider yourselves Liberals. In fact, you are probably very proud of your liberal views. You care so much. You feel so much. You want to help so much. After all, you're a compassionate and caring person, aren't you now? Well, isn't that just so extraordinarily special. Now, at this age, is as good a time as any to be a liberal; as good a time as any to know absolutely everything. You have plenty of time, starting tomorrow, for the truth to set in.
Over the next few years, as you begin to feel the cold breath of reality down your neck, things are going to start changing pretty fast... Including your own assessment of just how much you really know.
So here are the first assignments for your initial class in reality: Pay attention to the news, read newspapers, and listen to the words and phrases that proud Liberals use to promote their causes. Then, compare the words of the left to the words and phrases you hear from those evil, heartless, greedy conservatives. From the Left you will hear "I feel." From the Right you will hear "I think." From the Liberals you will hear references to groups -- The Blacks, the Poor, the Rich, the Disadvantaged, the Less Fortunate. From the Right you will hear references to individuals. On the Left you hear talk of group rights; on the Right, individual rights.
That about sums it up, really: Liberals feel. Liberals care. They are pack animals whose identity is tied up in group dynamics. Conservatives think -- and, setting aside the theocracy crowd, their identity is centered on the individual.
Liberals feel that their favored groups have enforceable rights to the property and services of productive individuals. Conservatives, I among them I might add, think that individuals have the right to protect their lives and their property from the plunder of the masses.
In college you developed a group mentality, but if you look closely at your diplomas you will see that they have your individual names on them. Not the name of your school mascot, or of your fraternity or sorority, but your name. Your group identity is going away. Your recognition and appreciation of your individual identity starts now.
If, by the time you reach the age of 30, you do not consider yourself to be a conservative, rush right back here as quickly as you can and apply for a faculty position. These people will welcome you with open arms. They will welcome you, that is, so long as you haven't developed an individual identity. Once again you will have to be willing to sign on to the group mentality you embraced during the past four years.
Something is going to happen soon that is going to really open your eyes. You're going to actually get a full time job!
You're also going to get a lifelong work partner. This partner isn't going to help you do your job. This partner is just going to sit back and wait for payday. This partner doesn't want to share in your effort, but in your earnings.
Your new lifelong partner is actually an agent; an agent representing a strange and diverse group of people; an agent for every teenager with an illegitimate child; an agent for a research scientist who wanted to make some cash answering the age-old question of why monkeys grind their teeth. An agent for some poor demented hippie who considers herself to be a meaningful and talented artist, but who just can't manage to sell any of her artwork on the open market.
Your new partner is an agent for every person with limited, if any, job skills, but who wanted a job at City Hall. An agent for tin-horn dictators in fancy military uniforms grasping for American foreign aid. An agent for multi-million dollar companies who want someone else to pay for their overseas advertising. An agent for everybody who wants to use the unimaginable power of this agent's for their personal enrichment and benefit.
That agent is our wonderful, caring, compassionate, oppressive government. Believe me, you will be awed by the unimaginable power this agent has. Power that you do not have. A power that no individual has, or will have. This agent has the legal power to use force, deadly force to accomplish its goals.
You have no choice here. Your new friend is just going to walk up to you, introduce itself rather gruffly, hand you a few forms to fill out, and move right on in. Say hello to your own personal one ton gorilla. It will sleep anywhere it wants to.
Now, let me tell you, this agent is not cheap. As you become successful it will seize about 40% of everything you earn. And no, I'm sorry, there just isn't any way you can fire this agent of plunder, and you can't decrease its share of your income. That power rests with him, not you.
So, here I am saying negative things to you about government. Well, be clear on this: It is not wrong to distrust government. It is not wrong to fear government. In certain cases it is not even wrong to despise government for government is inherently evil. Yes, a necessary evil, but dangerous nonetheless, somewhat like a drug. Just as a drug that in the proper dosage can save your life, an overdose of government can be fatal.
Now let's address a few things that have been crammed into your minds at this university. There are some ideas you need to expunge as soon as possible. These ideas may work well in academic environment, but they fail miserably out there in the real world.
First is that favorite buzz word of the media and academia: Diversity! You have been taught that the real value of any group of people - be it a social group, an employee group, a management group, whatever - is based on diversity. This is a favored liberal ideal because diversity is based not on an individuals abilities or character, but on a person's identity and status as a member of a group. Yes, it's that liberal group identity thing again.
Within the great diversity movement group identification - be it racial, gender based, or some other minority status - means more than the individuals integrity, character or other qualifications.
Brace yourself. You are about to move from this academic atmosphere where diversity rules, to a workplace and a culture where individual achievement and excellence actually count. No matter what your professors have taught you over the last four years, you are about to learn that diversity is absolutely no replacement for excellence, ability, and individual hard work. From this day on every single time you hear the word "diversity" you can rest assured that there is someone close by who is determined to rob you of every vestige of individuality you possess.
We also need to address this thing you seem to have about "rights." We have witnessed an obscene explosion of so-called "rights" in the last few decades, usually emanating from college campuses.
You know the mantra: You have the right to a job. The right to a place to live. The right to a living wage. The right to health care. The right to an education. You probably even have your own pet right - the right to a Beemer for instance, or the right to have someone else provide for that child you plan on downloading in a year or so.
Forget it. Forget those rights! I'll tell you what your rights are. You have a right to live free, and to the results of 60% -75% of your labor. I'll also tell you have no right to any portion of the life or labor of another.
You may, for instance, think that you have a right to health care. After all, President Obama said so, didn't he? But you cannot receive health-care unless some doctor or health practitioner surrenders some of his time - his life - to you. He may be willing to do this for compensation, but that's his choice. You have no "right" to his time or property. You have no right to his or any other person's life or to any portion thereof.
You may also think you have some "right" to a job; a job with a living wage, whatever that is. Do you mean to tell me that you have a right to force your services on another person, and then the right to demand that this person compensate you with their money? Sorry, forget it. I am sure you would scream if some urban outdoors men (that would be "homeless person" for those of you who don't want to give these less fortunate people a romantic and adventurous title) came to you and demanded his job and your money.
The people who have been telling you about all the rights you have are simply exercising one of theirs - the right to be imbeciles. Their being imbeciles didn't cost anyone else either property or time. It's their right, and they exercise it brilliantly.
By the way, did you catch my use of the phrase "less fortunate" a bit ago when I was talking about the urban outdoors men? That phrase is a favorite of the Left. Think about it, and you'll understand why.
To imply that one person is homeless, destitute, dirty, drunk, spaced out on drugs, unemployable, and generally miserable because he is "less fortunate" is to imply that a successful person - one with a job, a home and a future - is in that position because he or she was "fortunate." The dictionary says that fortunate means "having derived good from an unexpected place." There is nothing unexpected about deriving good from hard work. There is also nothing unexpected about deriving misery from choosing drugs, alcohol, and the street.
If the Liberal Left can create the common perception that success and failure are simple matters of "fortune" or "luck," then it is easy to promote and justify their various income redistribution schemes. After all, we are just evening out the odds a little bit. This "success equals luck" idea the liberals like to push is seen everywhere. Former Democratic presidential candidate Richard Gephardt refers to high-achievers as "people who have won life's lottery." He wants you to believe they are making the big bucks because they are lucky. It's not luck, my friends. It's choice. One of the greatest lessons I ever learned was in a book by Og Mandino, entitled, "The Greatest Secret in the World." The lesson? Very simple: "Use wisely your power of choice."
That bum sitting on a heating grate, smelling like a wharf rat? He's there by choice. He is there because of the sum total of the choices he has made in his life. This truism is absolutely the hardest thing for some people to accept, especially those who consider themselves to be victims of something or other - victims of discrimination, bad luck, the system, capitalism, whatever. After all, nobody really wants to accept the blame for his or her position in life. Not when it is so much easier to point and say, "Look! He did this to me!" than it is to look into a mirror and say, "You S. O. B.! You did this to me!"
The key to accepting responsibility for your life is to accept the fact that your choices, every one of them, are leading you inexorably to either success or failure, however you define those terms.
Some of the choices are obvious: Whether or not to stay in school. Whether or not to get pregnant. Whether or not to hit the bottle. Whether or not to keep this job you hate until you get another better-paying job. Whether or not to save some of your money, or saddle yourself with huge payments for that new car.
Some of the choices are seemingly insignificant: Whom to go to the movies with. Whose car to ride home in. Whether to watch the tube tonight, or read a book on investing. But, and you can be sure of this, each choice counts. Each choice is a building block - some large, some small. But each one is a part of the structure of your life. If you make the right choices, or if you make more right choices than wrong ones, something absolutely terrible may happen to you. Something unthinkable. You, my friend, could become one of the hated, the evil, the ugly, the feared, the filthy, the successful, the rich.
The rich basically serve two purposes in this country. First, they provide the investments, the investment capital, and the brains for the formation of new businesses. Businesses that hire people. Businesses that send millions of paychecks home each week to the un-rich.
Second, the rich are a wonderful object of ridicule, distrust, and hatred. Few things are more valuable to a politician than the envy most Americans feel for the evil rich.
Envy is a powerful emotion. Even more powerful than the emotional minefield that surrounded Bill Clinton when he reviewed his last batch of White House interns. Politicians use envy to get votes and power. And they keep that power by promising the envious that the envied will be punished: "The rich will pay their fair share of taxes if I have anything to do with it." The truth is that the top 10% of income earners in this country pays almost 50% of all income taxes collected. I shudder to think what these job producers would be paying if our tax system were any more "fair."
You have heard, no doubt, that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Interestingly enough, our government's own numbers show that many of the poor actually get richer, and that quite a few of the rich actually get poorer. But for the rich who do actually get richer, and the poor who remain poor .. there's an explanation -- a reason. The rich, you see, keep doing the things that make them rich; while the poor keep doing the things that make them poor.
Speaking of the poor, during your adult life you are going to hear an endless string of politicians bemoaning the plight of the poor. So, you need to know that under our government's definition of "poor" you can have a $5 million net worth, a $300,000 home and a new $90,000 Mercedes, all completely paid for. You can also have a maid, cook, and valet, and a million in your checking account, and you can still be officially defined by our government as "living in poverty." Now there's something you haven't seen on the evening news.
How does the government pull this one off? Very simple, really. To determine whether or not some poor soul is "living in poverty," the government measures one thing -- just one thing. Income.
It doesn't matter one bit how much you have, how much you own, how many cars you drive or how big they are, whether or not your pool is heated, whether you winter in Aspen and spend the summers in the Bahamas, or how much is in your savings account. It only matters how much income you claim in that particular year. This means that if you take a one-year leave of absence from your high-paying job and decide to live off the money in your savings and checking accounts while you write the next great American novel, the government says you are living in poverty."
This isn't exactly what you had in mind when you heard these gloomy statistics, is it? Do you need more convincing? Try this. The government's own statistics show that people who are said to be "living in poverty" spend more than $1.50 for each dollar of income they claim. Something is a bit fishy here. Just remember all this the next time Charles Gibson tells you about some hideous new poverty statistics.
Why has the government concocted this phony poverty scam? Because the government needs an excuse to grow and to expand its social welfare programs, which translates into an expansion of its power. If the government can convince you, in all your compassion, that the number of "poor" is increasing, it will have all the excuse it needs to sway an electorate suffering from the advanced stages of Obsessive-Compulsive Compassion Disorder.
I'm about to be stoned by the faculty here. They've already changed their minds about that honorary degree I was going to get. That's OK, though. I still have my PhD. in Insensitivity from the Neal Boortz Institute for Insensitivity Training. I learned that, in short, sensitivity sucks. It's a trap. Think about it - the truth knows no sensitivity. Life can be insensitive. Wallow too much in sensitivity and you'll be unable to deal with life, or the truth, so get over it.
Now, before the dean has me shackled and hauled off, I have a few random thoughts.
* You need to register to vote, unless you are on welfare. If you are living off the efforts of others, please do us the favor of sitting down and shutting up until you are on your own again.
* When you do vote, your votes for the House and the Senate are more important than your vote for President. The House controls the purse strings, so concentrate your awareness there.
* Liars cannot be trusted, even when the liar is the President of the country. If someone can't deal honestly with you, send them packing.
* Don't bow to the temptation to use the government as an instrument of plunder. If it is wrong for you to take money from someone else who earned it -- to take their money by force for your own needs -- then it is certainly just as wrong for you to demand that the government step forward and do this dirty work for you.
* Don't look in other people's pockets. You have no business there. What they earn is theirs. What you earn is yours. Keep it that way. Nobody owes you anything, except to respect your privacy and your rights, and leave you the hell alone.
* Speaking of earning, the revered 40-hour workweek is for losers. Forty hours should be considered the minimum, not the maximum. You don't see highly successful people clocking out of the office every afternoon at five. The losers are the ones caught up in that afternoon rush hour. The winners drive home in the dark.
* Free speech is meant to protect unpopular speech. Popular speech, by definition, needs no protection.
* Finally (and aren't you glad to hear that word), as Og Mandino wrote,
1. Proclaim your rarity. Each of you is a rare and unique human being.
2. Use wisely your power of choice.
3. Go the extra mile, drive home in the dark.
 Oh, and put off buying a television set as long as you can. Now, if you have any idea at all what's good for you, you will get out of here and never come back. Class dismissed"

THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Had a few cocktails with some buddies the other night and enjoyed a series of spirited conversations about the usual guy stuff. After we all agreed yet again that there is just no figuring out woman, we realized that we needed to address an issue of serious concern for all of us during this challenging time; a topic of interest and discussion currently dominating water cooler gatherings, coffee house chatter and the blogosphere. How can we legally donate more money to the Obama Presidential Campaign?

Before I could even throw out my cool bake sale idea, my poetry reading buddy Fletcher leaned across the table and said, “Guys! Where have you been? Didn’t you watch network news last night? The Obama re-election campaign has launched the coolest fund raising effort yet! It’s called, “the Obama Event Registry!”

Yes indeed friends, you heard correctly. It is real and it is pathetic, even for the emperor. The Obama Event Registry shamelessly asks that couples who are getting married forego gifts and money and donate it all instead to help the president get re-elected! They also want your anniversary and birthday money to! This would be hysterical if it weren’t so sad and so true. You can now request that your wedding, birthday or anniversary party guests register with Obama 2012 and ask for a donation to his campaign fund in lieu of a gift. Progressive nirvana here I come! Newly married young couples can now give all their money to the president instead of wasting it on creating a savings account, a down payment on a house or paying off the wedding expenses. It’s the president’s audacity of self love. But let’s be fair for a moment and look at it from his perspective.

There are only so many movie stars in Hollywood and he has basically drained that well.

Most of his aggrieved unemployed constituents that will be bussed to the polls this November are penniless and if they did have any money to give him they would most likely spend it on meth or crack first.

Romney is now raising more money then the emperor, which is a clear sign that his big money donors have lost faith in his abilities to further their special interests.

His war on woman only garnered support from those who are government dependant Fluke impersonators. The majority of educated, self made, hard working woman with money wouldn’t give him a nickel. They didn’t like being treated like they were disabled and helpless without his love and care.

His big union buddies are starting to wonder if they are investing their PAC funds wisely now, especially after the whoopin they took recently in Wisconsin.

It looks like an act of desperation by the emperor…………and pretty cheesy.

By now most of you have seen the video of Karen Klein, the 68 year old grandmother and bus monitor who was bullied beyond belief by a bunch of 12 and 13 year old pukes. It made my stomach turn.

These little sons of bitches tormented a sweet unassuming humble lady, bringing her to tears as she sat there on the school bus and tolerated unforgivable and disgusting verbal cruelty and it took a video of the actual incident going viral to bring this hideous situation to the school districts attention! If these scumbag miscreants had sadistically berated a black lady, Al Sharpton would have chartered a space shuttle and shot himself into the situation, screaming racism, Jim Crow laws and slavery. If Karen Klein had been a lesbian activist, you bet Gloria Allred would have pulled a muscle running over to “represent” Miss Klein and her interests. Alas, Karen Klein is white and hetero, so I guess we don’t need to mobilize the occupy movement or the New Black Panther Party, or the California legislature for a march, a riot or a new law, or all three.

The part of this episode that infuriates me to no end is why Miss Klein didn’t at some point stand up, walk over to one of the little skinny shit bags and beat the living crap out of him. I guarantee that would have put an end to it immediately. Getting your ass kicked by an old lady is hard to explain to your buddies. Its frustrating because we all know had Miss Klein taken some initiative and meted out some corporal ass kickin corrective action, one of the little punks would have called mommy and daddy, who would have called an attorney, who would have called Gloria Allred so she could represent the “poor  innocent Skittles eating kids” interests. The cowardly school district would have folded like a cheap tent, fired Miss Klein and then offered to better “train” future school bus monitors. Its gut wrenching to watch how our culture works anymore.

And who was driving the bus? Why didn’t he pull over and open a can of behavior adjustment? Who just sits there and lets this kind of thing happen without acting? Someone who wants to keep his job I assume. He most certainly knew that these little kids were protected by liberal school policies which makes then impervious to discipline. Nobody wants to risk losing their job because they know they will getzero support from their administration and face potential civil suits from the jackals that prey on situations like this. What you end up with is 12 year old feral hogs and the self righteous parents who spawned them.

What makes a group of 12 years olds behave like this? They called her “Fat B-tch” several times and said they would like to urinate and defecate on her. They said they wanted to stab her! They physically hit her several times!

Maybe we need special classrooms for kids who do such things. I know some former Marine drill sergeants who would be willing to spend some quality time with these cute little pieces of garbage. Do you think the emperor called her to see if she was doing ok? I mean considering he called Sandra fluke to see how she was doing after getting called a mean name by Rush Limbaugh.

This has to stop sometime. Our educational system is in ruins thanks in large part to liberal policies, lawyers and weak union controlled administrations. We all have a story about a frustrating experiences dealing with unresponsive school administrators. For all intents and purposes it may be to late already. How can we possibly get back to basics and turn this downward free fall around  when we allow a 68 year old lady to be tortured by pre pubescent predators?

BUTTINSKI

There are times, albeit few, when I succumb to the curious allure inherent in listening to other peoples conversations in public. Truth be told, the vast majority of my time running errands around town is dedicated to getting from point A to point B as quickly and efficiently as possible which leaves precious little free time for eavesdropping on others. I usually just don’t care because most conversations between two or more people in public usually revolve around dynamic, life altering topics like the weather, hairstyle, food or someone’s kid. Yesterday was different.

Last night I strolled into my neighborhood Raley’s to pick up a thing or two and walked over to the express checkout line. The store was fairly crowded and the express lane had six or seven people in front of me. I walked up to a young woman and man and took my place in line. I noticed as I approached them they were engaged in some kind of fairly animated conversation and based on their attire I concluded they must be together. The woman appeared to be the one directing the conversation and as I grew close I was able to hear everything she was saying. She didn’t seem overly concerned about using her “inside voice”. It became clear very soon that the conversation was in reality a lecture of some sort, or a training observation for the 20 year old lad standing subserviently next to her.

The female looked to be in her mid twenties. She had a horrifying mountain of matted, filthy hair shoved underneath a rainbow colored woven beanie. Locks of equally disgusting hair matter draped down her shoulders and back. She had multiple piercings on her face and it looked like she had one eyebrow shaved off. She wore a tattered dirty white tank top that barely concealed her sagging mcguffey’s, which were currently not under the control of a suspension device of any type. She was wearing a loose multi-colored lacey dress and old worn leather sandals. She wasn’t heavy, but her frame indicated it could be possibility at some point. The male was dressed in old cargo pants and a white tank top, with a just a couple of holes in his face. She was holding a few plastic bags which looked to contain small amounts of greens and possibly peppers and a stick of Rhubarb. For the purpose of identification from here on….I shall call this woman ‘Sunflower” and the young man, “Grasshopper”. Here’s what went down…….  

Sunflower was pointing out to Grasshopper all the customers in the store who had large amounts of food in their carts. Sunflower informed Grasshopper that all these “people” had way more food then they needed to survive and most of what they had would go to waste, which was a sin of the earth and of the human race. Grasshopper nodded in agreement. Sunflower then told the Hopper that it was those who hoarded the food that forced them(flower and hopper) to subsist on so much less. Grasshopper eagerly took in his life lesson from Sunflower and shook his head in acknowledgement/disgust. She finished with the following statement; “As long as life’s fortunate continue to ignore us and our place in the world, there will never be true peace and understanding. Our hunger is their sin.”

Several people in line turned and looked at Sunflower in amusement and disappointment. She did not look at anybody directly. At least not until yours truly opened his pie hole:

Me; “excuse me young lady, are you hungry?’

Flower; “Excuse me; I was not talking to you.”

Me; “I’m sorry but I overheard you say that you were hungry and I would like to help. I am willing to buy you a cart full of groceries if you are in need and hungry. I’m being sincere.”

Flower; (in a condescending tone) “Is that something that would make you feel better? Is that something you want to do?”

Me; “ I simply offered to help you young lady, but from your tone I will assume you don’t want any. I was just being polite. Forget it.”

Flower;(nodding to grasshopper) “See?”

Grasshopper; (nodding) “uh huh”

……………………………………….

Sunflower was now having her items processed and she reached into a small satchel hanging from a leather twine around her neck that I had not noticed before. We had ceased our conversation and were strangers again. Flower seemed reluctant to pull her hand out of the satchel as she glanced briefly down in my direction toward my feet. It took me exactly one milli-second to figure out why. My opportunity to be a great big ass hole had arrived and I was not about to let it pass. I turned my body toward her, leaned my right hand on the counter, crossed my right foot over my left and looked straight at her. She reluctantly pulled out her government EBT card and slid it through the reader. I swallowed the words that were screaming to get out. I couldn’t do it. I actually felt bad about the whole situation now.  I felt bad for her. She was embarrassed and I even detected a sense that she now felt a little ashamed about her behavior towards me earlier. I now wished for the awkward moment to conclude, but a man standing behind me who had listened to the whole conversation couldn’t let it go and said, “Well how about that. It looks like we are all buying your groceries today after all!”

The lady working the register shot a horrifying glance at the man. Flower showed us all her favorite finger and dropped the “F YOU!” bomb for everyone in the store to hear. I was now completely embarrassed and wondered how things went screwy so fast. I’m sure the few of us standing there wished we could unzip our skin and crawl away. There was shame all around. Sunflower defiantly grabbed her receipt and stormed out the door, with Grasshopper in tow. The whole sad episode was my fault.

You see……..I was not totally sincere when I initially offered to buy Sunflower a cartful of groceries. I would have certainly done it had she accepted my offer but I had an ulterior motive. I was going to teach her a valuable lesson. I wanted to teach Sunflower an important life lesson but she needed to accept my invitation to buy her groceries in order for me to implement my plan. The plan itself is irrelevant here.  What is relevant is her deep seated mistrust that she displayed to me.

Sunflower will go back to her living environment and share the story with her roommates or friends. She will undoubtedly paint every one of us as capitalistic heartless jerks who wanted to have a bit of fun at her expense and there is nothing anyone can do to change that. Her interpretation of the events at Raley’s  will make it all the more easy for her to have her demons, to convince future Grasshoppers that they are victims and further convince herself that she is not a welcome part of this great society…………………………………. because to me she is.

BOYS WILL BE GIRLS

In my last posting I referenced Jennifer Braly, a male 38 year old college student who wanted to use the girl’s restrooms because of his Gender Identity Disorder. He complained and Attorney General Holder fired off a letter to the university that must have made an impression on officials there because they altered policy to allow him to use woman’s facilities as he wished. Unisex restrooms were available for Braly during this time on the university campus but “Jennifer” claimed to be put out by their inconvenient locations. One troubled individual successfully forced his will and desires on an entire university.

It appears that this nation’s collective common sense is being effectively replaced by the emperor’s grievance ideology. It is evident to anyone with compassion that this Braly guy should be getting help with his “disorder.” He should not under any conceivable circumstance be dictating policy that affects thousands of “non disordered” female college students who wish to simply use the restroom without being subjected to potential embarrassment or worse by a man waving his confused pollywanker around and under no circumstances should he be receiving the help of a corrupt, racist, thug like Eric Holder. It’s not compassionate and it’s not right. It’s tragic lunacy, plain and simple.

And then there’s California…………….

In San Francisco (I know, I know), the official school policy regarding restroom use reads, “Students shall have access to the restroom that corresponds to their gender identity exclusively and consistently at school”. So if a Michelle identifies as a Michael while at school, she can use the boy’s facilities and locker rooms, and visa versa. Where was this rule when I was 15 and walked around school all day in a hormonal state of spastic curiosity! Perverts everywhere unite. We have taken the fort!

The Los Angeles School District, according to the LAUSD Reference Guide, makes this distinction: “Gender identity” refers to one’s understanding, interests, outlook, and feelings about whether one is female or male, or both, or neither, regardless of one’s biological sex”. So the progressive freak show has infiltrated the public school systems in Los Angeles to the extent that they have given themselves the authority to discriminate against Biology! Congratulations So Cal parents……your kid can now go to school and be any sex he wants, or both!, or neither! And it is perfectly sane!

Enter California government……………..

The California Senate just recently passed SB1172, by a 23-13 vote. This bill would make it illegal for a 17 year old with unwanted same-sex attractions to receive professional counseling, even with parental consent. It would also require counselors to warn prospective adult clients of the dangers of any counseling or therapy aimed at helping them modify their unwanted same-sex attraction. Huh?

A “task force” from the American Psychological Association(APA), “made up of all gay, lesbian affirming psychologists, released a report of their “findings” about whether gays could change their sexual orientation. This ridiculously biased report formed the basis for SB1172.

Gay activists do not want anyone who may have homosexual ideations to self determine and get help if they are troubled. It’s not surprising they got the hopelessly worthless California legislature on board with this outrage. It seeks to deny client’s rights to their own mental health and intrudes on the relationship between counselor and client. Are progressives really this bold now? In California they are because the lunatic fringe has a permanent seat at the Capitol. Its frighteningly more evident now that gay activists don’t just want what they refer to as “equality”, they want preferential control and lobby power all because of their sexual preference. I guess “live and let live” was just to get in the door.

Let us review; If Frank is attracted to his neighbor Bill’s young children, he can seek therapy for his problem. If Bill is attracted to Frank’s wife, he too can receive counseling to help him deal with it. But if Bill is attracted to Frank, then it’s considered as unethical for a counselor to help him, and outright illegal if he is a juvenile. Make sense?

And then consider this…………..

I wrote late last year about a lesbian couple in Berkeley who had an 11-year- old boy who was undergoing the process of becoming a girl. The parents began injecting the boy with hormone blockers to stop him from going into puberty. His name was Thomas, it’s now Tammy. At the age of seven he threatened to mutilate his genitalia. Psychiatrists diagnosed Thomas with gender identity disorder and by the age of eight his lesbian parents began the process of transitioning him to be a female. AND THIS IS LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA! I wonder if this young boy ever had a chance.

Who knows, someday, in the future, things will get so bad that a Mayor of a large city will try to pass a law restricting how much soda pop you can have in your cup!

Nah…..I’m probably just losing it…………………
